At my last day in Valencia I did not want to watch old or new buildings again...no sightseeing for me! Instead I was shopping and at Smöoy and Cupcake Valencia to get some yummy food. I bought new shoes, 2 shirts, one pair of white jeans, 6 cupcakes and the frozen yoghurt was delicious! I took some instapics! And of course I had to scrap them! My dear friend Daphne posted a while ago a beautiful page at Studio Calico, so I made this scraplift. I love the result and I love the colour pink, pink is just so pretty!
When my husband and I were at the "Puerto de Valencia", I took some random shots with my camera, love that. This picture was taken at the evening when we went back to the city after spending a nice day in Valencia. I love it, its nothing special but worth to scrapbook it. I made this page after a sketch by Studio Calico and I used just some stuff from the Front Row Scrapbook Kit and Big Screen Add-on.
Just a few words. I made this page with the Neverland-kit and Hook-addon from Studio Calico and I love the combination of blue, aqua and orange! The pictures were taken in Valencia. I have never been to this museum, but next year I will certainly go there. I love art! Sketch by Shimelle.
I am back, I am one happy scrapbooker again! Thats the good news. The bad news isnt acually bad, but I wished I could stay like forever(?) in Spain. I love this country so much, the weather is fine and its sunny most of the times, here in norway its snowing. Can you believe it? We have snow since october and I am so over it. I want spring, colours, warm temperatures. But no: not in Norway!
So here is the story behind the pics:
I love Valencia...okay I love Barcelona too and I think Madrid is also a very nice city, but I have never been there....so maybe next time. Valencia has some really old buildings and when you ever going to visit this beautiful city in Spain you have to go to "Torres de Serranos" for sure. Torres de Serranos or Porta de Serrans is one of the twelve gates that were found along the old medieval city wall in Valencia. You have a very nice view when you climb up the stairs. This is nothing for children under 6 though because its a bit scary.
I lifted a page from the latest adventure of Glittergirl (Shimelle?) over at 2peas, love her videos, they are always so inspiring! I think my page turned out quite well, the patterned paper at the background is busy and colourful but it fits the pictures. So I am very happy with the result! I used the Neverlandkit and the Hook-addon, oh how I love Studio Calico!
Scrapbooking is really therapeutic, I made 4 pages yesterday and I am feeling so much better now! Thanks for all the support via FB, email and in the comments the last couple days! I really appreciate it!
Sometimes life is hard, very hard.
I love scrapbooking so much, I can make cool pages, minialbums and even cardmaking is fun. Scrapbooking was a sort of "job" the last 2 years ( I was at 2 designteams), but from now on its more like the hobby I started like 8 years ago and some people say its even therapeutic and yes it is! I will scrapbook today, the last days I could not, I wanted it so bad, but I was all tears. I was so disappointed and still I am.
I made this page a few days ago when everything was still perfect and fine. Its a page about the hotel in Valencia where I stayed after easter this year. I made it after a sketch from Citrus Twist.
Some people were very helpful and full of understanding the past few days! Thanks girls, you are the best and real friends, but still my tears run...so: Happy scrappin! You will see more pages with the wonderful Studio Calico Kit "Neverland" and "Hook" within the next few days! I am ready for it! So stay tuned!

It was a long trip from Valencia to Oslo last week. First I took a flight from Valencia to Zürich, in Zürich I had only 10(!) minutes to reach my next flight to Stuttgart cause my first flight was to late. I was in panic for sure, but I managed it. I will never ever fly Swiss again, sorry guys, but this was not nice at all, I was so stressed, I was almost freaking out!
In Stuttgart I was picked up by Bruno, who is a sort of grandfather for the 2 boys. The kids stayed in Mutlangen with my mother in law and Bruno, so they had a good time there while I was in Valencia with my dear husband. The next day we (the kids and I of course) took a flight from Stuttgart to Frankfurt and then a flight from Frankfurt back to Oslo where we live. What a long trip! But Lufthansa is really cool, no delays, all went perfect!
The instagram is a picture of the airbus from Lufthansa and is taken at Oslo airport Gardermoen.
So thats the story behind it. I made this page after a layout from Shimelle. Love her work!
